I am so pleased and excited to announce that I have received my first Judging appointment on July 25 2010 in aid of Hearing Dogs in Wolverhampton.

Kimimela was established in 2007 by myself, Mrs. Kim Talbot. The meaning of the word translates to 'butterfly' in Native American. I adore butterflies, my name is Kim and I have an affinity for the Native American culture. Kim-im-ela

We are a small hobby kennel located in Shropshire, England where I migrated

to in 1999 from Los Angeles.

I bought my first show dog in the late 80's, a black Standard Poodle named Artful Jester's Dare with whom I learned about showing at AKC sanctioned matches, taking my first ever BIS and earned 2 of the 3 points needed

for a CD title in obedience.

Shortly after moving to England, my husband and I bought our Crufts qualified Doberman, Janeryl's Standing Ovation aka Arnold with whom I learned about showing in the UK, winning many classes and two BIS as well as a Best Veteran at Companion shows.

Always having owned large breed dogs, I decided on a Toy breed and after doing my research on various Toys, the Pomeranian ticked all the boxes.

In 2005 I bought my first Pom and was so taken by her lively and intelligent character, I decided I would like another Pom to show and perhaps start a line from. Having been unsuccessful with finding a show bitch for sell,

I bred my first litter in 2007 from my sound pet quality bitch and in 2009 qualified her grandson, Kimimela's Credit Crunch aka Cesar, for Crufts, at his

very first show. I finally found my potential show bitch in Nov 2008,

Daranash Jelly Belly.

I wish to thank those who have been so generous with their advice & support.

Our Poms are part of the family and live in the house with large green front and back gardens & their own dog room but live just as pets would, lounging in front of the tellie and cuddling on the sofa.

I only breed a few times a year to improve my line. Puppies are available from time to time to select homes only and will be shown here when available.

Well, that is our history so far! To be continued.....!
